On the 2nd day of Bahuda rath yatra at Baripada, the Darpadalana chariot of Devi Subhadra resumes its journey to the destination i.e. The Haribaladevjew temple, exclusively by the ladies. Since this is happened exclusively at Baripada, so every year ladies from all around the state of Odisha as well as its neighboring states like West Bengal, Jharkhand, Chhatisgarh etc gather to have this golden opportunity. This tradition is started from year 1975, the International Women’s empowerment year. Details can be found here. After the chariot of Devi Subhadra arrives at the temple, the Taladhwaja, chariot of Elder brother Lord Balabhadra starts its journey to the temple and reaches there on the same day and at-a-time.
